The Blue Martini 2006
by Michael Ferrell
directed by Jim Wren
About the Play
A group of Chicago twenty-somethings struggle to figure out the meaning of love, sex and life. Alcohol entangles a sexy and cynical bar critic, a repressed cute girl, a computer-game freak, and a churchgoing, bartending, handsome dude. There's also the requisite gay roommate who sells “pleasure items” to women at Tupperware-style parties.
Indeed, the producers offer the following as warning and as enticement: the production contains adult language, adult situations, and adult "props."
About the Production
The Blue Martini was presented as part of the 2006 New York International Fringe Festival and the Fringe Encore Series, a collection of the 10th annual New York International Fringe Festival's most "crowd-pleasing" shows.
